Iowa State coach Fred Hoiberg says there is no panic on the team despite a three game losing skid. The Cyclones are 2-3 in the Big 12 and 14-3 overall after a loss at Texas. Hoiberg says they had a similar situation a year ago, with the difference being that they beat Texas Tech. “You’ve got to try and find the positives when you are going through a stretch like we are right now, but at the same time you’ve got to work on some things that need to be fine tuned,” Hoiberg says.

Hoiberg says the Cyclones are still confident despite a tough stretch as he says they have good leadership and will continue to get better.

The Cyclones are off this week until hosting Kansas State on Saturday. “We’ll get a lot of shots up and really try to find tune exactly what we’re doing,” Hoiberg says. The Cyclones fell seven spots to 16th in the latest AP college basketball poll.
