UNI wrestling coach Doug Schwab says his team’s win at #4 Oklahoma on Sunday was a big, but he knows that there are bigger victories ahead. Schwab stopped short of calling Sunday’s 19-17 triumph the Panthers’ biggest win since he became head coach. “On paper I guess, but our biggest ones are to come. The big ones (are in) March,” Schwab says. He says they have worked hard to get noticed and he says he is more concerned about getting ready for the national tournament than he is naming the best wins.

Schwab says he’s seen a shift in the mentality that his wrestlers take into each match. “I really like where we are at, I like how our guys are coming together as a team, just getting closer,”Schwab says. “They are getting to the point now where they step out there with anybody and they expect to win…and that’s very contagious.”

Schwab as also asked if his team belongs in the top 5 and says they are getting close and says they have control of where they finish.

The Panthers will be back home for a dual against Missouri on Friday.
