Bodies found in the Quad Cities Monday and Tuesday

January 22, 2014 By Radio Iowa Contributor

Two bodies have been found over two days in the Quad Cities, prompting separate investigations. Someone found a woman’s body Tuesday afternoon on the Davenport riverfront and called cops. Police know the identity but are not releasing a name pending notification of relatives. Police are trying to determine whether foul play was involved and have scheduled an autopsy.

An autopsy is also being performed on a man found Monday near a Rock Island marina. He has been identified as 43-year-old Stephen Califf. He had been missing since January 2nd when he disappeared without taking his medication with him.
