Bodies found in the Quad Cities Monday and Tuesday

Two bodies have been found over two days in the Quad Cities, prompting separate investigations. Someone found a woman’s body Tuesday afternoon on the Davenport riverfront and called cops. Police know the identity but are not releasing a name pending notification of relatives. Police are trying to determine whether foul play was involved and have scheduled an autopsy.

An autopsy is also being performed on a man found Monday near a Rock Island marina. He has been identified as 43-year-old Stephen Califf. He had been missing since January 2nd when he disappeared without taking his medication with him.
