Iowa women ready for rematch with Indiana

January 23, 2014 By Todd Kimm

Iowa women’s basketball coach Lisa Bluder is not having any trouble getting her team ready for its next game. The Hawkeyes take a 3-3 Big Ten record into a matchup with Indiana.

“This is obviously the game that started our Big Ten season and we have some sour memories from that game — a two point loss at their place,” Bluder says.

Bluder says if the Hawkeyes took the Hoosiers lightly in the first matchup it won’t happen, again. She says even though they were 13-0 she isn’t sure the team took them seriously because of their past history, but says this time around they will get their full attention.

Iowa is 15-5 overall following a victory at Ohio State.
