Names released for two people found dead in Boone

January 27, 2014 By Radio Iowa Contributor

Boone police have released the names of the two people who were found dead in a townhome last Friday afternoon. The victims have been identified as 47-year-old Lisa Marie Kurth and 56-year-old David John Morrison.

Commander John Sloter, with the Boone Police Department, said officers responded to the emergency medical call and upon arrival found the two subjects dead at the scene. Neither subject showed any signs of obvious trauma and Sloter said both were transported to the Iowa Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsies. The results are pending.
