UNI men travel to Illinois State

February 5, 2014 By Todd Kimm

The UNI Panthers are on the road in Missouri Valley action to take on Illinois State. Both teams are 5-5 in the league race. “They play differently than the rest of the league. They press every possession, and then they’ll play zone…the entire game,” UNI coach Ben Jacobson says.

He is concerned about matchups against the Redbirds as they have one big and four guards, which he says makes them hard to play in transition.

The Panthers are 11-11 overall and Illinois State is 12-10.
