Cedar Rapids police identify man found dead in cemetery gazebo

February 7, 2014 By Matt Kelley

Cedar Rapids Police have released more information about the death of a man whose body was found in a gazebo at a cemetery. The man is identified as 64-year-old Stuart James Smith-Dromey of Cedar Rapids.

Smith-Dromey had been reported missing Wednesday and was found dead Thursday morning in the gazebo at Oak Hill Cemetery by a snowplow driver. Although an exact cause of death is unclear, Cedar Rapids Police say they do not suspect a crime was involved.
