Iowa Network Services Girls High School Basketball Players of the Week 2/12/14

Class 5A: Audrey Faber, Dowling Catholic
The junior averaged 27 points and connected on 71 percent of her field goal attempts in two wins. Faber scored 31 points and blocked four shots in a victory over Ankeny. She was 11 of 14 from the field.

Class 4A: Morgan Neuendorf, Waverly-Shell Rock
The senior averaged just over 23 points, five rebounds and three steals in three victories. Neuendorf scored 31 points and hauled down nine rebounds in a win over Iowa City Regina.

Class 3A: Anna Kiel, Unity Christian (Orange City)
The sophomore averaged 15 and a half points, nine rebounds and shot 71 percent from the floor in three games. Kiel posted a double-double in a victory over Remsen-Union with 23 points and 11 rebounds.

Class 2A: Morgan Muhlbauer, IKM-Manning
The junior poured in 32 points, grabbed 12 rebounds and dished out six assists in a victory over Audubon. She was 11 of 16 from the floor and eight of nine from the free throw line.

Class 1A: Johanna Vaske, Algona Garrigan
The sophomore scored 21 points and hauled down 14 rebounds in a win over cross-town rival Algona. Five of her rebounds were at the offensive end of the court and she made nine of 15 shots from the field.
