Knoxville schools employee under investigation

February 12, 2014 By Matt Kelley

A school employee in south-central Iowa is under investigation for an “alleged act of misconduct” involving a student. The superintendent of the Knoxville School District, Randy Flack, released a statement confirming the police investigation, but he did not identify the employee.

The nature of the allegations are also not being released, but Flack says the school employee has been placed on paid administrative leave. Knoxville Police say the alleged incident remains under investigation and they have not yet filed any charges.
