Three Des Moines residents sentenced to prison on cocaine charges

Three people from central Iowa will serve time in prison for trying to sell cocaine.  The three Des Moines residents all pled guilty to the charge of conspiracy to distribute cocaine after being arrested in an undercover operation.

Court documents say the conspired to sell over one pound of cocaine. Twenty-year-old Harry Lincoln Garrison the third was sentenced to 11 years in federal prison, 21-yearly Matthew Steward received 10 years and 30-yearly Heather Neilson five years. Steward had also pled guilty to carrying a firearm during a drug trafficking crime.
