The Iowa Hawkeyes take a 7-4 Big Ten record on the road to Penn State on today. The Nittany Lions are just 4-8 in the league race but the guard tandem of Tim Frazier and D.J. Newbill have led the Nittany Lions to road wins at Ohio State and Indiana in the last two weeks.

“No game is easy on the road. Penn State is a really good team. When they are at home they play very well and they’ve got two really good guards,” according to Iowa senior guard Roy Devyn Marble. He says Frazier and Newbill have stepped up their game this season.

Marble says at times the Hawkeyes have played better on the road than they have at home as they feel they are the underdog on the road regardless of who they are playing. Marble says they’ve lacked that focus in some of the home games they have played.

Iowa is 18-6 overall.
