The Iowa State Cyclones return to action on Tuesday night by hosting Texas. The Cyclones are 7-5 in the Big 12 and would move into a share of third place with a victory. “We can’t look too far ahead, because in this league that’ll get you burned,” ISU coach Fred Hoiberg says.

The Longhorns are second in the league race and at 9-3 trail first place Kansas by a game. Hoiberg says he’s impressed with all aspects of Texas on offense and defense. Texas won the first matchuip in Austin and Hoiberg says the Cyclones need to do a better job of rebounding, and he says you have to be able to get back in transition and defend the post. Hoiberg says they cannot let the Longhorns set the tone and tempo of the game.

Texas is 20-5 overall. The Cyclones are 19-5.
