Autopsy results show a Colorado man, found dead in Newton, was stabbed and beaten. Police in Colorado Springs say 61-year-old Grant Micheal Frazier died from multiple stabs wounds and blunt force trauma. He had last been seen on February 16th and was believed to be with 21-year-old Bionca Rogers.
Frazier’s body was found in the trunk of his car parked at the Courtyard Apartments in Newton early Tuesday morning. Rogers turned herself in to police in Cedar Rapids on Wednesday. She’s facing a charge of first-degree murder.
Investigators have not released information on how Rogers and Frazier may have known each other. Public records show Rogers has a criminal history in Iowa that includes disorderly conduct and assault.
