Davenport police investigate fatal weekend stabbing

Davenport police are investigating a weekend  death following a stabbing outside a strip club. Police were called to the parking lot of the Chorus Line just before 4 A.M. Saturday on the report of someone being stabbed. Police found 22-year-old Christian David Wood of Davenport on the ground in the parking lot suffering from stab wounds.

Wood was treated at the scene and then taken to the hospital where he later died. Davenport detectives are trying to piece together what happened and have not released any other details.
