Death of woman in Waterloo called suspicious

March 24, 2014 By Radio Iowa Contributor

Waterloo Police are investigating what they call a suspicious death. The body of 53-year old Sharon Creighton was found around 2:00 P.M. Sunday afternoon in the 800 block of Ricker Street. Creighton’s body was found near wooden pallets behind Advanced Environmental Testing and Abatement.

She had been reported missing by family members earlier in the day. No other details have been released at this time.  An autopsy is being conducted by the State Medical Examiner’s Office.
