A Wayland man will spend time in prison on drug charges.  Twenty-seven-year-old Kyle Joseph Boileau was sentenced to four years in prison for manufacturing methamphetamine and a substance containing meth. Court records show Boileau conspired with others in 2012 to make meth and distribute meth in the southeast Iowa area. He was able to obtain ingredients for meth — such as pseudoephedrine — from others in exchange for some of the meth he made.

The records show police found Boileau making meth in a vehicle in the town square of Washington in Washington County in December of 2012. They then searched his apartment and found a variety of items used in making meth.
