Cyclones fall to Connecticut 81-76

Iowa State couldn’t pull out another come from behind win and fell in the NCAA tournament 81-76 to U-Conn Friday at Madison Square Garden in New York. The Cyclones got behind by 10 at the half and  were only able to cut that lead down to 4 in the second half.

Dustin Hogue led the Cyclones with 34 points, DeAndre Kane added 16 points and Monte Morris 12, The Cyclones end the season in the Sweet 16 with a 28-7 record.
