Two eastern Iowa men will serve a combined 36 years in prison for their convictions in child pornography cases. Fifty-year-old Robert Buss of Dubuque was sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty in January to one count of distribution of child pornography.

Buss admitted to distributing child porn over the internet in 2012. Sentencing information also revealed that Buss attempted to entice three minors to send him sexually explicit pictures.

In the other case, 21-year-old Jason Smith of Cedar Rapids was sentence to 16 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of receiving child pornography.  Sentencing information indicated that Smith went online and pretended to be a woman to get minor boys to perform sexual acts for him on a webcam. He then saved videos of the minors on his computer.
