A large fight at a northeast Iowa shopping mall has led to multiple arrests. Waterloo Police have arrested seven teenagers in connection with a brawl at Crossroads Center last month.

Police and paramedics were called to the shopping center on the evening of March 12th. When they arrived, 20 year-old Keith Hayes was lying unconscious on the floor near the mall’s carousel. Witnesses told police that Hayes had been assaulted by several men who hit and kicked him in the head.

Four of the seven who have been arrested are juveniles.  All face charges of disorderly conduct and have been barred from Crossroads for the next two years.
