Cedar Rapids police have charged a man who was already in custody with the murder of a woman in April. Police have charged 32-year-old Bobbie Harold Little with first-degree murder in the death of 37-year-old Shanna Lee Beyhl.

Beyhl was found dead inside her apartment on April 4th. An autopsy determined she died from multiple stab wounds. Little was already being held after his arrest on April 8th for second-degree theft.

Police found he was in possession of Beyhl’s cell phone, two TV’s, a DVD player and a game system. Police say Little’s fingerprints were found at the crime scene and further investigation by the state crime lab discovered Beyhl’s DNA on Little’s shoes and clothing, which led to the murder charge.
