Autopsy results released for murdered Webster City man

June 10, 2014 By Dar Danielson

The Department of Public Safety has released the preliminary autopsy results in the death of a Webster City man. The report from the State Medical Examiner says 61-year-old Steven Graesch died from “blunt force trauma” or blows to the body.

Webster City police found Graesch’s body early Monday morning. Their investigation determined he had been involved in a fight with his son on Saturday, and died from injuries resulting from that fight. Police have charged the son, 27-year-old Corbin Graesch with first-degree murder.

No other details have been released on the type of injuries the elder Graesch suffered, or what caused the fight between the father and son.
