Webster City man accused of killing his father

June 10, 2014 By O. Kay Henderson

A 27-year-old Webster City man is accused of murdering his father.

Authorities say sometime early Saturday morning there was a fight in the home the father and son shared and 61-year-old Steven Graesch died after being hit with some kind of object. Police had visited the home before in response to domestic disturbances.

Graesch’s ex-wife — the mother of the man accused of killing his father — is the person who called police early Monday morning, after going over to the house and discovering the crime scene. Corbin Graesch is charged with first degree murder.

Authorities aren’t saying what object was used in the murder. An autopsy is being conducted on the elder Graesch today.
