Drug bust leads to 3 arrests in Ottumwa

June 11, 2014 By Matt Kelley

Three men are facing charges following a large drug bust in southeast Iowa. Ottumwa Police say a drug task force on Monday carried out a search warrant at the home of Brian Dean Rork.

Officers found drugs and firearms and arrested Rork and two other men, identified as 24-year-old Jose Guadalupe Inocencio and 35-year-old Jorge Lugo-Gomez. Those arrests lead police to search both a storage locker and the Tasty Burrito restaurant in Ottumwa. At those locations, police seized 61 pounds of marijuana, 5 pounds of methamphetamine, and a large amount of synthetic cannabinoids.

All three men are now facing multiple felony drug charges and Lugo-Gomez is being held on a warrant from Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
