Three men will serve time in federal prison on separate sex charges. Sixty-year-old Danny Joel Hummel of Essex pled guilty on July 11th to using a computer to transport obscene materials. Court records show Hummel had obtained obscene images in December of last year from an off-site electronic data storage location. Hummel was on probation at the time for possession of child pornography. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison.
Twenty-six-year-old Jesse Dewayne More, formerly of Davenport, was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to coercion and enticement of a minor. Moore was arrested after staff from the meet-me-dot-com website reported what appeared to be sexually explicit messages posted by a person claiming to be a teen in Davenport. The corresponded with an ongoing investigation where officers determined Moore met a 13-year-old online and had sexually explicit contact with the minor.
An Omaha man will spend 10 years in federal prison for sex trafficking in Iowa and Nebraska. Court records show 25-year-old Adrien Jamaal Cole pled guilty to sex trafficking in March of this year. An investigation found Cole had used minors in and around the Omaha area as prostitutes. He also recruited teen girls to take them to Council Bluffs to have sex with customers for money. The FBI helped Omaha and Council Bluffs police in the investigation. Cole will have to serve 10 years of probation once he is released from prison.
