The Iowa State Patrol has released the names of the two people killed in an accident at the intersection of Highway 30 and a county road east of Boone Monday. The victims are 76- year-old Marie Hooker and her husband 80- year-old Ronald Hooker both of Webster City.

Reportedly a southbound 2007 Chevrolet Impala driven by Marie Hooker was stopped at a stop sign when she pulled out in front of a 2004 Jeep Liberty driven by Jane Ham of Boone. Both Ronald and Marie Hooker were pronounced dead at the accident scene.

A passenger in the Hooker car, 79-year-old Donna Porter of Duncombe was transported to Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines for treatment while Ham and her passenger 80-year-old Lyle Mattson of Boone were transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames for treatment of their injuries.
