Iowa Wesleyan football looks to even record in homecoming game

Iowa Wesleyan hosts MacMurray College of Illinois on Saturday in its annual homecoming contest and with a victory would equal last seasons win total. The Tigers are 1-2 after a 13-7 win at Minnesota-Morris.

Iowa Wesleyan coach Tom Parkevich who says the defense has made big strides this season and is a little bit ahead of the offense. He says that allows them to stay in ballgames into the fourth quarter. Parkevich says the defense is flying around and there are less missed tackles.

MacMurray is also 1-2 on the early season. “Their team like us, they are searching for an identity, they are searching for that break out season,” MacMurray says. He says they also want to win after his team beat them at their place last year.
