Washington County identifies men who may’ve been electrocuted

Authorities have identified two men who were killed, possibly due to electrocution, last week in southeast Iowa. According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and rescue personnel were sent to an address in Wellman shortly after 1 p.m. Friday on the report of a possible electrocution.

Two men, 38-year-old Chad VanVoltenburg of South English and 47-year-old Paul Duello of Kinross, were pronounced dead at the scene. Few other details are being released as the incident remains under investigation.
