A freshman at Drake University in Des Moines is the owner of a new Ford F-150 pickup after winning a contest last night at the “Bulldog Madness” pre-season basketball event. In order to win the vehicle, Alex Tillinghast had to make a layup, a free-throw, a three-pointer, and a half-court shot within 30-seconds. He missed the layup twice and the three-pointer three times, before firing the half-court shot as time expired. The ball went through the hoop as the buzzer sounded. The Drake basketball players and students then stormed the Knapp Center court.
