A teenage girl was killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle crash over the weekend in southeast Iowa.

The crash happened late Saturday night in Keokuk County. The Iowa State Patrol reports an SUV driven by 22-year-old Dakota Bogert of Bloomfield ran a stop sign and collided with another SUV traveling on Highway 78.

The driver of that SUV, 17-year-old Bethanne Cooksey of Hedrick, was killed in the crash. Bogert and a passenger in her vehicle, 17-year-old Keegan Barker of Bloomfield, were both injured and flown by Air Care to University of Iowa Hospitals. The crash remains under investigation.
