Deere & Company makes ‘most ethical’ list again

March 9, 2015 By Radio Iowa Contributor

Deere logoIowa’s largest manufacturing employer is among the world’s most ethical companies, according to the Ethisphere Institute. It annually recognizes organizations that have had a significant impact on the way business is conducted by fostering a culture of ethics and transparency.

Moline, Illinois-based Deere & Company has made the most-ethical list for the ninth consecutive year. Ethisphere evaluates companies in five categories: They include an organization’s ethics and compliance program; its corporate citizenship and responsibility; its culture of ethics; its governance; and its leadership, innovation and reputation.

Samuel Allen is Deere’s chairman and CEO. He says Deere’s focus on doing business in alignment with the company’s core values has earned the loyalty of customers for generations.
