The Iowa Hawkeyes enter day two of the NCAA Wrestling Tournament with 21 team points and in second place — two points behind Ohio State.

Iowa still has 8 wrestlers in the tournament, including 5 in the quarterfinals. Northern Iowa has two wrestlers left, both are in the quarterfinals. Sophomore Cooper Moore, at 165, pinned both of his opponents on Thursday.

Iowa and Iowa State will go head-to-head in a pair of quarterfinal round matches Friday morning as the Hawkeyes’ Cory Clark meets Earl Hall at 133 and Nate Burak will face the Cyclones’ Kyven Gadson at 197.

The tournament is taking place in St. Louis.
