Iowa City man arrested for multiple sexual assaults

Police-lightsAn Iowa City man is charged in several sexual assaults of women. Police received 5 reports of a man on a bicycle riding up behind women and grabbing them from May 27th through June 8th.

Police set up extra patrols and sent out plain clothes female officers to the west side area where the assaults happened. During surveillance of the area, Officers found 44-year-old Michael Long of Iowa City, who matched the description of the attacker.

Long is charged with 4 counts of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse. Police say additional charges are pending.
