For the second time Jordan Spieth has won the John Deere Classic in the Quad Cities. Jordan Spieth needed a two-hole playoff to win the John Deere Classic in the Quad Cities, his fourth tourney win of the year.

Iowa native Zach Johnson finished in third place at 19 under.

Spieth would have liked to stay around longer and sign autographs but he had to catch a plane to Scotland where he will play in the British Open. He says he feels bad he couldn’t stick around longer, but says if he stayed around everyone on the plane would be mad at him.

Tom Gillis lost in the playoff, coming up short in his bid to win his first PGA Tour event.
