An eastern Iowa man will spend more than 11 years in prison for illegally possessing a gun. Thirty-three-year-old Charles Michael Pledge of Dubuque, also known as Tennessee, pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a felon in April.
Pledge admitted to possessing a .45 caliber pistol in November. Pledge has four prior felony convictions in Tennessee state court for aggravated burglary.
He was sentenced to 135 months in federal prison.
