Hawkeyes expect Indiana’s best shot

November 4, 2015 By Todd Kimm

With an 8-0 record and spot at number nine in the first College Football Playoff rankings the Iowa Hawkeyes are part of the national conversation. It will also put a target on their back and the Hawks expect Indiana’s best shot when the teams play in Bloomington on Saturday.

“They are on a four game losing streak and want to get back in that win column”, said Iowa junior quarterback C.J. Beathard. “They have got a lot at stake and so do we.”

The Iowa defense is giving up just over 15 points per game but that unit faces a big test from a Hoosier offense that averages 33 points per game.

“You play this game because you want to play the best and right now Indiana is right up there passing wise,” said Hawkeye junior corner Greg Mabin. “It is going to be a big challenge for us this week.”
