After grinding out a hard fought victory over South Dakota the Northern Iowa Panthers continue their homestand on Saturday againsat Indiana State. Both teams are 4-4 overall and 2-3 in the Missouri Valley Football Conference race.
UNI coach Mark Farley says like the Panthers the Sycamores still have a shot at the FCS playoffs.
“They’re good. They were a playoff team last year”, said Farley. “Most of those players are back from last year and they beat us last year. That’s enough to tell me they are a playoff football team.”
Saturday’s game kicks off at 4:00p.m. in the UNI-Dome.
