Pomeroy man charged with murder

Crime Scene TapeA 48-year-old northwest Iowa man has been charged with murder in connection with a shooting death in Pomeroy earlier this month.

Forty-one-year-old Dale Currie Potter of Devils Lake, North Dakota, was found shot to death in Pomeroy shortly after 2 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10th.

Late yesterday Calhoun County officials announced 48-year-old Freddy Crisp of Pomeroy had been arrested and charged with Potter’s murder. Crisp is being held in the county jail. Devils Lake, North Dakota is about 580 miles northwest of Pomeroy.
