Matt Campbell says he is in it for the long haul. The former Toledo coach was introduced as the new coach at Iowa State and will try to make the Cyclones a consistent winner.

“I am as loyal as you are going to get and I really believe the building process in taking something and making it special is what I like to do and that is not a short term fix”, said Campbell. “You are not going to see a short term fix by me or my staff. We are here for the long haul.”

Campbell was 35-15 in just over four years as the Toledo coach. The Cyclones finished 3-9 in Paul Rhoads’ seventh and final season at the helm.
