A suspicious death investigation is underway in southern Iowa. State DCI agents were sent to a farm pond near the Union and Madison County line after a hunter found the decomposed body in the pond.
A release from the Iowa Department of Public Safety states the body is that of a female in her 30s. An autopsy was performed, but officials are not releasing the cause and manner of death — or any other information.
Officials say the body was discovered by the hunter last Wednesday December 2nd.
