Police continue looking for clues in hit-and-run death of ISU student

Ames Police continue to look for a vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run crash Monday. Police have identified the victim as 18-year-old EmmaLee Jacobs, an Iowa State University student from Urbana.

Police believe she crossing the street at Lincoln Way and Ash Avenue around 7 a.m. when she was hit. An ISU police officer found her in the road and Jacobs died at a hospital. Investigators have said they believe the driver involved knew they hit someone, but left the scene.
