Reinbeck man admits to child pornography posession

Crime Scene TapeA northeast Iowa man has admitted to receiving child pornography.

Thirty-four-year-old Robert Turner of Reinbeck pleaded guilty to one count of receiving child pornography Tuesday in federal court in Cedar Rapids. Turner, who is formerly from Cedar Falls, admitted that, between 2001 and 2013, he knowingly used the internet to receive child pornography.

Turner faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years in prison a possible maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and 250-thousand dollar fine. A sentencing date has not yet been set.
