The 13th ranked Iowa State Cyclones continue a Big 12 home stand on Saturday afternoon by hosting Baylor. The Cyclones are coming off their first league victory on Wednesday night over Texas Tech 76-69.

ISU coach Steve Prohm says one of the keys to the game will be solving Baylor’s zone defense.

“They have always been known for their zone and so we have got to do a great job of attacking it, getting it to the baseline and getting it to the high post”, said Prohm. “If we can get stops and guard them then you don’t have to attack the zone because you are playing in transition.”

Last season the Bears won in Hilton Coliseum and snapped Iowa State’s 21-game home court winning streak.

“That definitely left a bad taste in our mouth last season when Baylor came in here and beat us”, said junior guard Matt Thomas. “We are definitely going to be ready to play on Saturday.”
