Panthers look to start win streak

The Northern Iowa Panthers will try to win consecutive games for the first time since late November on Wednesday night when the visit Indiana State in Missouri Valley Conference.

The Panthers are coming off a lopsided win over Drake but a lack of consistency has hampered coach Ben Jacobson’s team.

“The most important thing I can do is to continue to stress to the guys how important their preparation is each day”, said Jacobson. “It is easy when it is going great to have all of your confidence. When you back and forth a little bit you can allow some things to enter your thought process that don’t need to be there.”

While the Panthers have spent the past month struggling to play .500 basketball the Sycamores have been surging and have won six of their last seven.
