The Iowa Hawkeyes have climbed one spot to fourth in the latest Associated Press College Basketball Poll. The Hawkeyes are 19-4 overall and 10-1 in the Big Ten after Sunday’s 77-65 win at Illinois.

They return to action Thursday night with a visit to Indiana.

“Every time we step on the court and get another win the next game becomes even bigger”, said Iowa senior center Adam Woodbury. “That is very true for our next game against Indiana. We have got a big target on our back and they are going to be ready for us but we are going to be ready for them. We will have a great game plan and we wil try to execute it to perfection.”

Villanova is the new top ranked team this week with Maryland second. Previously top ranked Oklahoma falls to third followed by the Hawkeyes and Xavier. Iowa State is down a spot this week to 14.
