Iowa State prepares for TCU

The 13th ranked Iowa State Cyclones look to regain their winning ways at home on Saturday night against TCU. The Cyclones are 7-6 after an overtime loss at Baylor and are looking to climb back into the top half of the league race.

ISU coach Steve Prohm says while a series of close losses have been frustrating the Cyclones are not that far away.

“That is the frustrating part because you know you are right there from being maybe 21-5 and in first place or second place”, said Prohm. “We are really a game behind where we were last year at this time. We have just got to get better and we have TCU and need to get locked in to them.”

The Horned Frogs are at the bottom of the Big-12 standings with a record of 2-11.
