Iowa State coach Steve Prohm says senior center Jameel McKay will “definitely” play at West Virginia, tonight. McKay was dressed but did not play in the Cyclones’ victory over TCU on Saturday night and Prohm called it a “coaches decision”.

The Cyclones enter the stretch run tied with Texas in fifth place in the Big-12 with a record of 8-6. The Mountaineers are 9-5 in the Big-12 and beat the Cyclones 81-76 earlier this month in Ames.

“We’ve got to be smart and we have got to be disciplined and up here you have got to take care of the ball and then we have got to win the rebounding”, said Prohm. “Free throw line, rebounding and turnovers are the three stats we have got to win tonight.”

West Virginia is looking to bounce back from a subpar effort in a 76-62 loss at home to Oklahoma.

“We have got to forget about Saturday and move forward, said West Virginia coach Bob Huggins. “We are very familiar with Iowa State as they are with us and we have had some great games over the years.”

It is an 8:00 p.m. tip off in Morgantown. The game will be televised by ESPN.
