March 14, 2016 By Tim Fisher

Iowa State logoThe Iowa State men’s basketball team continues to make history, earning a school-record fifth-consecutive berth in the NCAA Tournament.

The Cyclones earned the No. 4 seed in the Midwest Region and will face No. 13 seed Iona Thursday, March 17 in Denver, Colorado. The game is set for a 1pm tip.

The winner of the Iowa State-Iona game will play the winner of the Purdue-Little Rock game on Saturday, March 19.

This is the 18th NCAA Tournament appearance for Iowa State and the first under first-year head coach Steve Prohm. With five consecutive appearances, ISU is one of just 10 schools to make the tourney from 2012-16.
