Logan woman dies, son injured in ATV crash

Iowa State Patrol logoAn ATV crash on Monday in western Iowa claimed the life of young woman and injured her son.

A crash report from the Iowa State Patrol states 27-year-old Jordan Muxfeldt of Logan was driving the four-wheeler in rural Harrison County when, for an unknown reason, she made an abrupt turn causing the ATV to roll on the roadway.

Muxfeldt and her three-year-old son, Wade, were both thrown off the vehicle and were air-lifted to hospitals in Omaha. Jordan Muxfeldt died from her injuries. She was pregnant with twins. Her son is said to have non-life-threatening injuries.
