The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating an accident Wednesday night that killed three people, including two men from Webster County, Iowa.
The accident happened on a highway near Center, Missouri, southwest of Hannibal. Reportedly, a northbound 2002 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 33-year-old Steven Valley of Belle, Missouri, crossed the center lined and struck a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by 43-year-old Kerk Friday of Otho, Iowa.
Two passengers in the Friday vehicle, 68-year-old Kenneth Friday of Otho and 44-year-old Chon Rushton of Fort Dodge, were killed in the accident.
Valley was also pronounced dead at the accident scene. Kerk Friday was transported to University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, for treatment of his injuries.
