March 25, 2016 By Matt Kelley

Corrections-logoBoth inmates who escaped from a central Iowa prison facility nearly a month ago are now back in custody.

State corrections officials have confirmed Michael Amodeo was captured late Wednesday afternoon.

The other inmate who left the minimum security Newton prison on February 27, Jessy Foley, was captured earlier this week.

The two men are now being held in the medium security prison in Newton. Officials are not releasing details about where the two escapees were captured.
